Mingling with Purpose

In 2024, The Single Mingle DMV proudly launched “Mingling With Purpose”, a volunteer movement designed to connect singles with a heart for service. Through this initiative, our members have come together to make a tangible difference in the lives of those in need within our communities.

In September 2024, we partnered with Commissioner Salim Adofo & Friends to assemble 300 care packages for families in Ward 8, Southeast Washington, D.C.  In November, our members collaborated with the Harriet Tubman Women’s Shelter to collect and distribute winter essentials, including blankets, socks, mittens, gloves, and warm clothing, to help residents face the chill of winter.  In December 2024, The Single Mingle DMV teamed up with Realia Early Care and Education LLC to gather, wrap, and distribute Christmas gifts to 60 families in need in Baltimore City.

As we close out an impactful year, we are thrilled to announce that in 2025, The Single Mingle DMV will expand our efforts, continuing to bring meaningful service opportunities to our members and greater support to our surrounding communities.
